I would summarize my talent as a people person more than a dentist. The most important part of my relationship with my patients is that I know who they are first, then offer my skills as a dentist. After several decades of providing dentistry to thousands of people, I am at the top of my game in my judgment and skills.
Dentistry blends my aptitudes as a teacher, an empathetic listener, and a good communicator with my fine-tuned motor skills. All this has provided me with a successful and fulfilling dental career.
How I help my patients
I am a great communicator. My goal is to learn who my patients are to make our relationship work.
As the owner and a dentist of Choices in Dentistry, I work to provide outstanding care to each person. That’s why I make sure to hire great people and have up-to-date technology and treatment options. I’m responsible for educating the team on holistic protocols and the importance of making every patient feel heard.
As a dentist, I’m also committed to keeping my skills up to speed to provide painless care without complications.

My Dental Philosophy
Less is always better—do not over-treat. I believe it’s important to learn the patient’s values and work with them. To respect that everyone is balancing many issues in their life. To incorporate improved dental health, while remembering that patients have other problems, too.
That’s why I read patients well and work with their values and their timelines. I can provide ultimate dental care now, or if now isn’t the perfect time to address a dental issue, I want to be there when they decide to do it.
Things you probably didn’t know about me…
Most of the artwork in the office is mine! I craft mirrors, sew clothes, make stamped greeting cards, homemade paper, collages, flowers…
If I hadn’t become a dentist, I might have been a psychologist or a philosopher. I love reading books in these fields.
I’m the mother of 2 sets of twins born 2 years apart. My sisters and I had 5 sets of twins over 8 years. The local news did a fun story on it one year!
